The Show grounds are located on the Encounter Coast of the fabulous Fleurieu Peninsula, in a quiet location in Port Elliot, one of the premier holiday destinations in South Australia. The area is famous for Horseshoe Bay and cliff top walks, and Port Elliot is central to other Encounter Coast towns – Victor Harbor, Goolwa and Middleton, and is an ideal base for exploration of numerous nature and produce trails, and wine regions such as Victor Harbor, McLaren Vale to the North, and both Currency Creek and Langhorne Creek to the North East. The coastal scenery of the area is spectacular.
The wide, open fully fenced and secured grounds and pavilions of the show grounds provide a suitable venue for large functions such as open days, exhibitions and sporting events. Also sixteen powered sites are available for motor homes. Caravans can be accommodated in times of local caravan park overflows.
Ample toilets and hot showers are available in the show ground ablution block with further toilets available adjacent to powered sites.
Dogs – under supervision – are welcome.
